The review of Horton Hears a Who!
Horton Hears a Who! Based on a book “Horton Hears a Who!”, Published by the writer dr. Seuss in 1954, the author keeps the plot of the poem : Horton, Elephant available and positive, one day hears a cry coming from a speck of dust floating on top of a stalk. Only able to pick up, he discovers that the speck is home to the kingdom in question Who does not know a carefree community (perhaps too)
Administered by a Sinda -Chi that works as a narrative element mirror Horton With more than ninety dependent children, a puppet of the great council that uses it as a facade, the Sinda -Chi establish a private relationship with the elephant through an amplifier of luck.
This contact between two worlds becomes the engine of the story : Horton decides that his mission will be to place the grain safe on a sunflower in a protected cave atop a hill, while the Sinda -Chi fight social frustration trying to convince people of the existence of Horton and especially of their precarious condition.
The best result of a metaphorical fable is usually achieved when the mind has difficulty reclining languidly on a series of unequivocal interpretation. No wonder the book dr. Seuss has been interpreted over the years even as anti-abortion, using the phrase as a slogan Horton “A person is always a person, however small” (key denied by the widow of the author, who has asked not to use significant work of her husband as the flag.)
Volunteer would identify Horton “God” of the Who, but as soon as the idea settles in the audience, here’s the good-natured adventures of a white elephant carry the secret of serenity to a more human and easy to lay open availability, education and understanding, including of its enemy, as is evident in the final. Activation of synapses that works poetry and released as it reaches a full stop.
Finally came the creation of a team that can do without directors so far, “owners” (Wedge and Saldanha), The Blue Sky Studios rely on film directing veteran animator Pixar Jimmy Hayward and Steve Martin, artistic director Robots, Films whose production design has influenced a lot of freedom unnatural color of this Horton Hears a Who!.
The addition of secondary characters is not always essential, but in some cases, such as expansion of the role of boldly rebellious son of dictatorial kangaroo, and guessed.
As often happens in animation perhaps excessively agitated in the current scenario, sometimes the barrage of verbal gags saturated atmosphere, but the film gains much ground in terms of visual found. Raised by the need to make plausible that it is not, the animators play with grimaces and anthropomorphism so contagious, with some unexpected solutions almost always entertaining.
The 3D graphics gives the style of dr. Seuss, Quoted in a small insert animated and some details of costumes and scenery. Rich Park original items, with a Jim Carrey in great shape in the shoes of Horton and Steve Carrell in those Sinda -Chi.
In conclusion to Horton Hears a Who! is a result that leaves perhaps reveal a great personality auteur cinema, but that conveys perfectly the soul of dr. Seuss. Had the appropriate expertise that hoped the days of doubt The Grinch and The Cat and the Mad Hat.
