Michelle Williams puts her career on hold

While her career was at its peak with an Oscar nomination for Best Actress with her performance in My Week with Marilyn Michelle Williams has decided to take a break. The actress wants to stop the film for some time, to devote herself to her mother’s life with her daughter Matilda.

The pretty face of Michelle Williams sorely missed our big screens in the coming months. The actress, who just won for her role in My Week with Marilyn nominated for an Oscar for best actress has decided to set a time for her career on hold.



Michelle Williams wants to devote her life best role, that of mother. To see it grow little Matilda, her 6 year old daughter born of her union with the late Heath Ledger, she made this decision. Thus, the top of its 31 years, while her career was at its peak, the actress has canceled its film projects and not accept any other in the months to come. “I just want to go and become a mom for a while” Has she told E!

Remains to be seen how long Michelle Williams intends to move away from the cinema. For if this announcement is great news for the little Matilda, it is very sad for the big screen…
