Kung Fu Panda 2
The panda’s favorite and all his friends are back in “Kung Fu Panda 2″, also inspired an animated and amusing than the last. Fighting everywhere, good humor and child related scenario is on the menu that this dish is best enjoyed without side effects.
DreamWorks Company has more than one trick up its sleeve. Since the decline at the counter of the third and fourth “Shrek”, they put everything on “Kung Fu Panda”. The first part that took the show in 2008 impressed the audience, and history may repeat itself with this second volume that would be even a tad higher than the previous.
Po (voiced by Jack Black in the original) and his friend’s followers of martial arts back in service. This time they must confront an evil peacock (Gary Oldman) who seeks to subjugate China. A dangerous journey that will allow the pudgy panda to know the truth on its origins.
It takes the same and starts again. The old adage of the continuations applies again with this one. Jennifer Yuh may have replaced John Stevenson and Mark Osborne to the realization, that does not appear hardly. The animation is always exciting to watch. The mixture between two and three dimensions remains exquisite, while the soundtrack provides a beautiful lyrical at all.
Again most of the action takes place. It is spectacular and mind-blowing, especially during the first battle where the fighting took place on a musical tempo. Subsequently, these sequences turn out a little insistent, which generally arrive to counterbalance the numerous moments of humor. The omnipresent gags do constantly to smile, turning occasionally while slapstick comedy, which will put definitely good mood the children and their parents.
Even if it is still the weak link in the effort, the narrative is interspersed with some ingenious dramatic ellipses that will not leave anyone insensitive. A good new one in front of this intrigue a little too smooths and linear that lacks complexity. The themes that recall the importance of the family are not very subtle, which explains why the production quality is not always in the same category as those of Pixar.
This will still be sufficient for young souls who are captivated by the colorful and endearing characters who each have their own personality and a voice that suits them completely. To such not at all that Jack Black even should envision to loosen his career of actor so it is better here than in the entire in “Gulliver’s Travels” planet.
Funny, rhythmic, dramatic, “Kung Fu Panda 2″ knows how to entertain and comes up with this easy adventure for everyone. Although the soul is not always what you, it is still possible to have a good time.
