Killing Season
Actors Robert De Niro and John Travolta will be a replica in “Killing Season”, a film to be directed by Mark Steven Johnson (“Ghost Rider,” “Daredevil”) from a screenplay by Evan Daugherty (“Snow White And The Huntsman “). Shooting will begin next January 16 and Millennium Films announced Corsan Pictures.
The history of this action film will take place in the Appalachian Mountains while veteran Army (De Niro), who lived withdrawn in an isolated cabin, will receive the unexpected visit of a European tourist (Travolta). An unexpected friendship develops between the two men until they discovered that this visitor in question is former Serbian soldier come to take revenge.
“We are delighted to co-finance and co-produce the film with corsan have been awarded and work again with Robert De Niro and John Travolta,” commented Avi Lerner, President of Nu Image/Millennium Films. “We have never seen these two great actors together on screen and we look forward to seeing what comes out of this combination” adds Lerner.
International rights will be sold to American Film Market held in Santa Monica, California this week. A poster also has been created to promote the project.
