Happy Feet Two
The cute penguins of Hollywood are back in “Happy Feet Two” a much more lively and magical suite than its popular predecessor. Dances, songs, moral insistent and very good effects in three dimensions are in honors of this old-fashioned pleasure which will have fun the entire family.

And touching the young Mumble (Elijah Wood) has grown and now has a son (Ava Acres) who has a knack for getting into trouble. It will become a penguin is responsible to the rescue with their tribe who is trapped by walls of ice. To get there, dad and son will build alliances amazing.
Released in theaters in 2006, “Happy Feet” was a great popular success and critical, even winning the Oscar for best animation. A dream journey for a very special cartoon where scatological humor and dance numbers and singing did not always mix. Then arrives on screens five years later and it is at any point higher than its original model.
Although past defects are still present (doubtful gags, borrowing very little subtle to popular culture, particularly uneven sound choices, incredibly supported and moralizing social discourse, etc.) the story is much more interesting this time. The mix between drama, humor and adventure seems more to the point, while the rapid pace so that it is impossible to be bored.
Heroes always also sympathetic and cobs are reinforced by new tasty characters, including two krill to emancipate themselves. These small shrimp almost deserve their own feature both the ups and downs that they must confront are continuously smiled. Topics ranging from the freedom to the difference in by the need to help others and to unite to natural disasters are an echo in the news, human and ecological. Some darker passages (the attack of the birds) and this obsession of always all focus on the family remind us that the effort was directed by George Miller, who was responsible among other “Mad Max” and “Babe 2″.
Sometimes more superficial than profound, more flashy that really emotional, this high color odyssey is accompanied by a superb animation, rich and varied. The retina fun before all of these forms, and pleasure is tenfold by a clever use of 3D, which may be recalled in this sense the superior “Legend of the Guardians”. The melodies that range from forgettable tunes catchy tubes superimposed genres with ease, being accompanied by most of the time by beautiful sessions of tap.
Funny, sometimes absurd and deliberately naive in the way of solutions to save Earth, “Happy Feet Two” is a friendly entity kitsch, also exploded as didactic, which happens to captivate young minds while affecting older. It’s already a nice change compared to its big brother overstated.
